Critical Pathways in Cardiology is the official journal of the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care.
Edited by Christopher P. Cannon, MD this peer-reviewed quarterly journal is evidence-based critical pathways for the management of patients with cardiac disorders.
It provides a single venue for clinical researchers to publish their pathways, with the evidence-based rationale for what is included in them. Studies evaluating the pathways' efficacy in improving clinical care and updates on existing pathways as new diagnostic tests or medications are featured.
Members of the Society receive a free 1-year subscription to the magazine.
Critical Pathways publishes the original abstracts presented at annual Congress. Through agreement with Wolters Kluwer, an online file of the abstracts has been made available at no charge to the public.

Formerly known as the Society of Chest Pain Centers, the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care will focus on facility accreditation and certification for Chest Pain Centers, Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS), Heart Failure (HF), and Atrial Fibrillation (A-fib). In addition, SCPC will provide certification for Chest Pain Center Coordinators, nurses, administrators and Chief Financial Officers looking to be compliant with CMS guidelines for Quality, Cost and Customer Satisfaction. |
