Society of Chest Pain Centers and American Heart Association release joint scientific statement on Practical Implementation of the Guidelines for Unstable Angina/Non-ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction in the Emergency Department
DAYTON – AHA and SCPC issued a scientific statement offering practical steps to help ED physicians implement the evidence based guidelines for rapid evaluation, assessment and treatment of unstable angina/Non ST-Segment elevation myocardial infarction patients into clinical practice.
The joint statment also addresses intitial therapy for ACS patients. Intended to contain practical tools, the statement assists the emergency department in insuring that the most efficient and practical treatments are being utilized.

The Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC) is an international

in 1998, the Society is dedicated to patient advocacy and
