Cycle II Accreditation Review Workshop

This workshop is designed to assist facilities in their preparation for accreditation review.  Participants will learn how the review process works and the details of the review criteria. Specifically:

The Review Process - How do I get started?

Learn how the review will be conducted and how to apply effectively for accreditation.  The eight steps of the process are discussed including; obtaining accreditation information, performing a pre-application gap analysis, documenting and submitting application materials, processes review, the site visit, and the accreditation status determination.

Review Criteria – What can I expect?

Discover the details all of the accreditation Items in the Tool, which are the review criteria, with an explanation of what processes would need to be present to receive credit and how to document them.

Cycle III Accreditation Review Workshop

This workshop is designed to assist facilities in their preparation for accreditation review.  They will learn the review process, review criteria, what qualifies a facility for accreditation, and how to go through the process. Specifically:

Learn how the review will be conducted and how to apply effectively for accreditation.  The eight steps of the process are discussed including; obtaining accreditation information, performing a pre-application gap analysis, documenting and submitting application materials, processes review, the site visit, and the accreditation status determination.

Accreditation Workshops Fees Each Accreditation Workshop is a stand-alone workshop. Registration fees are $200 per person per workshop. Pre-Conference workshop fees are not included in the conference registration fee.

CME

Maximum Credit hours: Total of 22.25

Credit hours per day: Wed. 2.5 hrs.; Thurs. 6.5 hrs.; Fri. 6.25 hrs., Sat. 7 hrs.

CME - Physicians

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) and Society of Chest Pain Centers. The University of Massachusetts Medical School is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The UMMS designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 22.5  AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) ™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Application has been made to the American College of Emergency Physicians for ACEP Category I credit.

CONTACT HOURS - Nurses

This offering meets the requirements for 22.5 contact hours for nurses as specified by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in nursing (244-CMR 5.04).  Each nurse should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity .
